New Toy Goodness!

Tomorrow my new lens will be arriving. I am considering skipping class just to sign for it!

My husband broke my Canon 50mm f/1.8 lens.

And he let me buy a new one. A better one. A MUCH better one!

And he didn't give me a price limit. Big mistake on his part :)

My Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 L lens will be arriving tomorrow!!!

Faces of Fibromyalgia

Lately, I have been wanting to do a project featuring people with Fibromyalgia here in Hawaii.

It is a very personal subject for me. I have not met anybody else with Fibromyalgia, and it would be great to have somebody to relate to.

I cannot explain the daily pains and discomfort to my husband. He could not ever understand. Nobody can understand chronic pain until they have experienced it.

I am hoping that I will be able to find others here, and build a community.

I would love to document the faces of Fibro, for it is such a diverse problem. People of all ages, all races, all creed can fall victim to it.

If you know somebody in Hawaii with Fibromyalgia, please have them contact me! I want too start photographing them, for photography has become my greatest pain killer. I hope to spread the joy to others.
